Software Bayou makes tools for the businesses that run on parts, materials, and job schedules — from one person with a truck and a storage room to a shop with a full crew. We build what we needed ourselves, and we still run our own shop on it.
How we work
Software Bayou started inside a working window tint and auto detailing shop in Lafayette. The tools we needed either didn't exist or cost more than they saved, so we built our own — counting film and supplies at the end of a job, chasing a part that should have been on the shelf, working out what it really costs to keep a bay stocked. That's still the test every product has to pass: does this save a working day, or does it just look good in a demo?
We'd rather do a handful of things properly than ship a platform nobody finishes setting up. Our software should be useful the same afternoon you sign up.
Flat, predictable subscriptions. No per-seat surprises, no sales call to see a price, no annual contract you have to negotiate your way out of.
We're independent, we answer our own support email, and we're not building this to flip it. We intend to be here in ten years.

Works the same whether you're a solo operator tracking film and supplies or a shop running several bays — window tint, auto detailing, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and anyone keeping materials on hand.
We run our own tint and detail shop on it every day. If it doesn't hold up on a busy Saturday, it doesn't ship.
